Lambrettino 1st Version

In Late 1965 / Early 1966, Innocenti once again set out to enter the the Autocycle market with a completely new design. It was 5 years since Innocenti had produced the Lambretta 48, also nicknamed the Lambrettino, and it was this name that Innocenti would marrket their new model.

Unfortunatly we only have one photo of this first version for reference. What is clearly visable is the use of Ci-Te controls on the handlebar and Lui 50C handlebar grips, the handlebars are of welded stem type. An Aprillia rear light unit is also fitted. The rear luggage rack can be seen incorporating the fuel tank. The front forks are of similar design to a lightweight motorcycle.
